Bellingham's first ever First Tee class met at Lake Padden Friday afternoon. I was there to help out with the games and, believe me, if the kids/students had half as much fun as I did, then they had a really good time.

On Monday morning, Phil Gaggero, the Director of Instruction at Lake Padden, sent out an email blast inviting children aged 9-17 to sign up for Bellingham's first ever First Tee classes, set to begin September 17th. By lunchtime all 12 available spots had been filled.
Thankfully, Phil is now offering a second class but places are going almost as quickly. If you call him today, you may get lucky.

Thanks to consecutive rounds of 69 over the weekend, a two-over 74 was good enough for Chris Killmer to win his third Bellingham Amateur at Lake Padden Monday.
