How Much Fun Was That?
Bellingham's first ever First Tee class met at Lake Padden Friday afternoon. I was there to help out with the games and, believe me, if the kids/students had half as much fun as I did, then they had a really good time.

Besides Dustin Johnson, one wonders if anyone else - a certain European Ryder Cup captain for instance - was more than a little relieved after Paul Casey faltered down the stretch at the BMW Championship yesterday. 

Spaces in First Tee Classes Going Quickly
On Monday morning, Phil Gaggero, the Director of Instruction at Lake Padden, sent out an email blast inviting children aged 9-17 to sign up for Bellingham's first ever First Tee classes, set to begin September 17th. By lunchtime all 12 available spots had been filled.
Thankfully, Phil is now offering a second class but places are going almost as quickly. If you call him today, you may get lucky.

74 Good Enough For Killmer
Thanks to consecutive rounds of 69 over the weekend, a two-over 74 was good enough for Chris Killmer to win his third Bellingham Amateur at Lake Padden Monday.
