Brett Johnson will likely lead the side in New Mexico.
Western Washington played in the NCAA Division II West Regional tournament for the first time in 1999 - the year the school began competing at the NCAA level. Next month, the Vikings will play their 18th consecutive Regional when they head to Las Cruces, NM and the New Mexico State University Golf Course, looking to improve on their 19th-place finish of 2015.
The Vikings will be seeded ninth for the event beginning on May 2nd which will mark the third straight year Luke Bennett has gone as head coach.
