After two birdies in the first four holes of yesterday's third round at the Pacific Coast Amateur Championship, being played at Martis Camp in Truckee, CA., Bellingham's Matt Rawitzer (right) was tied for second, just a shot out of the lead. However, bogeys at the 9th, 13th, 16th and 18th, with just one more birdie at the short 14th, saw him drop down the leaderboard into ninth place.On two-under 214 after 54 holes, Rawitzer enters today's final round six shots out of the lead held by Taylor Travis of Fremont, CA.
