Dylan Goodwin
Husky golfer Dylan Goodwin is set to become a Viking. The 20-year-old, who was born in South Africa and also lived in Indonesia and England before relocating with his family to Mukilteo, played for the Huskies twice, tying for 35th at the 2008-9 Husky Invitational at Gold Mountain in Bremerton and tying for 45th at the 2009-10 Palouse Collegiate at Palouse Ridge in Pullman. In six rounds for UW, Goodwin averged 76.0.
He has finished second at a local US Junior Amateur qualifier, and was an important member of the state title-winning Kamiak HS team in 2008.
Goodwin joins the 13-man golf
squad at WWU where he will play alongside standouts Xavier Dailly, Sam Ayotte, Brian Barhonovich and Bellingham's-own Patrick Boag.
