Sahalee will favor Fred Funk's accuracy.
Sahalee is, of course, where Vijay Singh won the 1998 PGA Championship by two shots from Steve Stricker, and where Aussie Craig Parry won the 2002 NEC Invitational by four over Funk and Robert Allenby.
I played the course last month and came away thinking that while Funk will certainly have an advantage finding the wickedly narrow fairways with his arrow-straight drives, he certainly (okay, probably) won't be shooting the 268 (-20) he posted at Crooked Stick in Indiana last year.
It's going to be a great event and we are fortunate to have this opportunity to watch these great players (twice in a month with the Boeing Classic at TPC Snoqualmie Ridge Aug 27th - 29th).
